Membership
Membership is open to all individuals, libraries, institutions, genealogical and historical societies that are interested in genealogy, local history, family records, and family history.
Memberships available are:
-
- Member Society – This option is for local genealogical societies in Montana (see list below). When a society becomes a Member Society of MSGS, all of its paying members automatically gain MSGS membership. They obtain voting rights and receive Society publications.
- Individual – For individuals who are not part of one of the Member Societies listed below. You may join MSGS directly as an individual member, obtain voting rights, and receive Society publications.
- Family – Residents of the same household, who are not affiliated with a Member Society, can join MSGS together. They’ll receive Society publications and have one collective voting privilege.
- Subscription – Libraries and other genealogy/history organizations can join MSGS. They receive Society publications but do not have voting rights.
